LIVE LINK 2022 NOW OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS

About the Festival

The Live Link Film Festival is a three-day event run by young people, for young people. In its second year, the festival continues to introduce our audiences to the creative world of filmmaking and exhibition, allowing them the opportunity to explore their artistic likes and dislikes, while giving them the chance to see the world through new perspectives. Our themes this year are loyalty, perseverance, and diversity; chosen by our panel in the hopes of broadening views of life in London and the wider UK, combined with an encouragement to build healthy habits and relationships.

We're hyped to be partnering for the London Screen Academy

HUMANITY CHANGE ABSTRACT
Tell us your story: the story of your humanity, your community, your experiences. Share with us your unique perspective of what humanity means to you, who you are, and where you come from. We all know our world can change in the blink of an eye, show us how you dealt with it, what you created or became because of it, or educate us on what that change was and how it impacted you and your community. Don't let boxes tell you how to create or what to create, be you

Format

Last year we were completely online, the three-day event was live-streamed onto our Youtube channel and we want to keep that going this year, alongside some new elements. In 2022, now things are beginning to reopen, we hope to host some in-person events in the community. From screenings to networking events, this year looks to be jam-packed with local and national films being screened, along with great opportunities for young people in Islington. Be sure to stay tuned on our social channels for updates.
