It was wonderful to celebrate Mary's 10 Year Anniversary with so many of our friends and community partners joining in the different events.

A special thank you to all who shared their stories with us, helped out with activities, contributed their home baking to make the events more welcoming!

COVID Grant For Mary's

Thanks to the award of nearly £64,000 from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund, Mary’s work in delivering activities to support people in Islington can continue for at least the next six months.

Mary's Youth Club members were successful in securing £600 for their London Youth Keeping It Wild social action conservation project.

We took part in the public debate hosted by Even Davis for the BBC's PM programme held at St Mary's Church in April.
New LED Light Fittings for the Crypt

Thanks to a Cloudesley Charity Grant, the Crypt lighting has been replaced with low energy led fittings throughout. We now have even brighter community rooms in the Crypt with a much reduced carbon footprint.
Keeping It Wild – Update

We’ve partnered with London Youth and London Wildlife Trust to embark on an inclusive social action project called City Leaders Keeping it Wild.

Find out what's on now at Mary's? We have a range of activities every day catering for children, young people, adults and the elderly from physical exercise, dance, social support, through educational, training, special interest groups to leisure activities and birthday parties.
Pre-school

Giving children aged between 2 and 4 years the best start.
Room and Space Hire

Wide range of meeting rooms and spaces to suit a variety of activities and occasions.
Johnston Room

This bright, large space has a wooden floor & mirrored wall, making it idea for dance classes and rehearsals. It's also ideal for large meetings, seating up to 80.
What We Do

We connect people to new opportunities and to each other so they can participate, grow and contribute.
Garden Room

The Garden room offers a light and airy environment with wooden floors and windows looking onto the gardens around St Mary’s Church. It can accommodate up to 50 people.
